Welcome to GLAAQN

Great Lakes African American Quilters' Network is a regional African American network dedicated to serving the community through quilting and quilt education.

​

Our purpose is to act as an information network for other ethnic and African American fiber artists, as well as provide quilts to those in need.​

Congrats to our awesome, talented, and dynamic quilter Toya R.B. Thomas! She won 1st Place- "My Ancestor Mandala" in the 2025 Atlanta Quilt Festival! [LEFT]

Toya also won honorable mention for her quilt "Showtime" in the 2025 ATL Quilt Show Festival. [RIGHT]
